This second synthesis identifies key policy recommendations related to workers’ compensation coverage issues that affect mobile workers. The policy synthesis will be of interest to federal and provincial governments and to industry, labour and those who serve and support mobile workers and their families. It is based primarily on work done by researchers and partners in six provincial jurisdictions: British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Québec, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
