Leanna Butters

Leanna_Butters Under the supervision of  On the Move Co-investigator, Dr. Kelly Vodden,  Leanna completed her MA in Environmental Policy at the Environmental Policy Institute, Grenfell Campus, Memorial University in 2018.   Leanna’s MA research looked at employment-related geographic mobility and its impact in terms of planning and land-use, specifically in the Deer Lake region of Newfoundland. She hopes this research will contribute to discussions focused on generating more connective approaches to community planning.  From 2015-2018 Leanna also worked as a research assistant with the On the Move Newfoundland Community Impacts research team.    Leanna is currently Grants & Contracts Facilitation Officer at the Grenfell Campus.    Her MA thesis and summary of her MA research can be found here:
