Migrant Dreams, a film by Min Sook Lee is streaming free online for the month of May. The documentary tells the story of migrant workers in Leamington, ON left with debt and broken dreams by an employment system that leaves them vulnerable to being taken advantage of by recruiters and employers. Although focused on Indonesian workers in Ontario, the film illustrates many of the concerns brought to light in the report Who, How and How Much? Recruitment of Guatemalan Migrant Workers to Quebec by On the Move researcher Dalia Gesualdi-Fecteau et al.
