Mandy Rowsell is a PhD Candidate in the Department of English at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Her research examines representations of masculinity in contemporary Newfoundland fiction. Mandy is working as a Research Assistant for On the Move, under the supervision of Dr. Barb Neis. She is responsible for the maintenance of the project’s RefWorks database, which involves tracing all publications related to employment-related geographical mobility. She is also assisting with the On the Move Partnership Research Repository, which will be part of the general research repository at Memorial University and other knowledge mobilization tasks.
