The Centre for Organizational Research & Development (COR&D) at Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia, was established in 1991 to address the human resource challenges of organizations. COR&D examines organizational relationships through topics such as burnout, work engagement, work/life balance, civility in the workplace and managing change.
With a dual focus on excellence in research and optimizing organizational work-life, the Centre recognizes that employment-related mobility has wide-ranging implications for workers, their relationships at work, at home and in the community. Investigating these implications fits with COR&D’s mandate of improving worklife. Dr. Michael Leiter, founder and director of COR&D, is also a co-investigator with On the Move.
