Mike Luff is a Senior Researcher for the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC). The CLC is the national voice of the labour movement, representing 3.3 million Canadian workers. At the CLC, Mike works on a range of public policy issues including labour mobility, education, workplace training, adult literacy, health care and public service delivery.
Prior to joining the CLC, Mike was the Director of Research and Communications with the National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE), one of Canada’s largest unions, representing 350,000 provincial government employees across the country.
Before joining the labour movement, Mike spent time working in the political arena at both the federal and provincial levels.
Mike has a master’s degree in public policy and administration from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
